The main differences between gelato and regular ice cream are texture and temperature, along with gelato having lower fat content. Yes it’s a healthier option! Who knew?
The lower fat content means there is much less fat to coat your tongue and therefore your taste buds. This allows the delicious flavours of our gelato dance in your mouth, to then melting away leaving a refreshingly clean palate.
Stored and served at a higher temperature of regular ice cream gives gelato a creamier and slightly softer texture, this also contributes to the delicious melt in the mouth flavour experience. Our luxury gelato is not to be rushed but savoured and enjoyed.
Our gelato is made right here on the farm using milk from our own dairy herd and only a single batch of each flavour is made. This ensures the quality is excellent and the flavours are presented just as you would find in the finest gelato bar in Florence.
