what are your opening hours?

We have Winter and Summer opening hours which are always up to date and found here.

can we book a table?

At busy times it would be advisable to book.

do we sell dairy free ice cream?

No, all our ice cream is made from milk from our own herd of dairy cows. We do have a selection of sorbets that are dairy free.

do you have onsite parking?

Yes we certainly do and when it’s busy and conditions are right, we open up one of our fields to expand parking.

are your cakes gluten free?

Not all of them but we do have a small and changing selection of GF cakes and treats, they can sell out fast so ask one of our servers on the day.

is your ice cream gluten free?

Please ask your server on the day what GF options are available.

do you have high chairs?

Yes we do, quite a few so you should be ok.

do you have disabled access?

Yes we do and we are always working to improve this.

do you serve savoury food?

No we stopped serving savoury food in December 2015. We now offer a delicious sweet menu, sticking to what we are best at, the menu can be found here.

do you do takeaway food?

Yes most of our offerings can be prepared and packaged to take away, just ask your server.

do you allow dogs?

Dogs are welcome to the outside areas but are not allowed into the eatery or Parlour. Guide dogs are an exception.

do you have a facebook page?

Yes we do and you can like us over here.

do you serve tea and coffee?

Yes we do, we have a fantastic barista machine and staff are trained to serve up artisan coffees, beans supplied by Atkinsons of Lancaster. All our teas are loose leaf.

have you made any changes due to COVID-19?

Due to the Covid 19 we have changed a few procedures to keep you and our staff safe. Please wear a face covering when entering and wait to be seated, if you have the NHS app on your mobile device please scan the QR poster at this point or give your details. We now provide table service and ask customers to remain seated. Also please note we now have a designated entrance and exit for the café.
